I got accepted! Now what?

Congratulations! You are taking college classes as a high school student and are officially getting an EDGE up on your peers! Follow the steps below to confirm your attendance, immunization requirements, registration, and prepare yourself for the first day of class. Welcome to Rutgers!

1. Activate Your NetID

All students are assigned a Rutgers unique identifier known as a NetID which is comprised of initials and a unique number (e.g. jqs23).  Your NetID is not the same as your RUID.  To activate your Rutgers NetID visit netid.rutgers.edu. If you need assistance please contact the Help Desk (973)353-5083 or help@newark.rutgers.edu.

2. Immunization Requirement

Visit the myRun website for more up to date information. If you have any questions contact the RU-N Student Health Office.

3. Registration

Once Rutgers University Records confirm a Summer Edge Student is compliant with the Immunization Requirement, students will be registered into their course.  Students will receive communication through the Summer and Winter Application Portal (SWAP).

To verify your registration, please visit WebReg, https://sims.rutgers.edu/webreg/pacLogin.htm, using your RUID and your PAC number. Your PAC number is comprised of the four digits representing the month and date of your birth. For example, if you were born on November 7, your PAC # would be 1107.

4. Term Bill Payment

To view your term bill, pay, and manage your account online visit https://finservices.rutgers.edu/otb.  Select the RUID Login option and enter your RUID and PAC #.  More information on tuition and fees can be found here.

5. RUHere

All students must complete the RUHere process for Summer Session. Please note that your registration is not complete until both tuition payment and the RUHere process have been completed.  Please click here for RUHere campaign dates.

6. Rutgers Email and Other Electronic Services

The Office of Summer & Winter Sessions will notify you via email when these services become available for activation.
