QUALIFIED UNEMPLOYED WORKERS TUITION WAIVEREligible unemployed persons interested in attending Summer Session are required to meet with the Program Coordinator of the Office of Summer & Winter Sessions located in Blumenthal Hall, Room 208 on the Wednesday, Thursday or Friday preceding the beginning each session.* Summer Session I and 12-Week Session registration takes place on May 21, 22, and 23 only. Summer Session II registration takes place on July 1, 2, and 3 only. Prior or subsequent dates will not be honored. Registration is on a space available basis only. Students using a tuition waiver may not use special permission numbers to register for a closed course. Students may register for a maximum of fourteen (14) credits during Summer Session. A maximum of (2) courses or (7) credits can be taken per session. Any tuition waiver student who registers prior to meeting with and securing approval from the Program Coordinator of Summer Session will be denied attending Summer Session under the Qualified Unemployed Workers Tuition Waiver Program. Such students will be held responsible for payment of all tuition and fees. Students are not allowed to add or change course selections after initial registration; students may however drop courses in accordance to the withdrawal period (see Summer Session Registration Calendar). Documentation Required to Satisfy Eligibility Each eligible individual seeking to enroll in credit courses in this tuition waiver program is responsible for filing a financial aid application and providing Rutgers University with all information necessary to determine possible financial aid eligibility. *In observance of Independence Day on Friday July 4th, registration has been substituted with Tuesday, July 1st.
