All students (new, visiting, returning, or continuing students) are responsible for reviewing, understanding, and abiding by the University’s regulations, procedures, requirements, and deadlines as described in all official publications.  These include, the Summer Session website, the appropriate academic catalog, and the University Code of Student Conduct, viewable here. It is the student’s responsibility to maintain a current address on record with the Office of the Registrar.

Please talk with your academic advisor or dean to assure that you have the appropriate preparation, referencing the prerequisites listed on the University Schedule of Classes (http://www.acs.rutgers.edu/soc).  If you have questions or need additional information about a Rutgers course, you may contact the sponsoring academic department (use the search website for departmental contact information).

Computer Accounts
All Summer Session students are required to have access to an e-mail, internet account, and a Rutgers University NetID.  You may open a Rutgers University-Newark computing account by going to the following web site https://netid.rutgers.edu/index.htm.

To create a NetID go to http://oit.rutgers.edu/services/account.

Obtaining Your RUID

If you are a current Rutgers student visit My Rutgers, and enter your NetID in order to obtain your RUID number.
